Launched on February 7 of this year the Samsung Galaxy note was released under the smartphone device category. Talk time runs approximately 25% better than the average 4G device at 10.00 hours from a single charge of the oversized 2500 mA battery on board the handset. Standby time runs 10.4 days, and the hardware package on board the Galaxy note also includes a Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon microchip package. That suite of chips revolves around the dual core 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor, and a separate Adreno 220 chip handles all graphics processing. 1.0 GB of RAM system memory is on board, as is 16 GB of built-in storage, with a microSD slot providing storage expansion opportunity up to 32 GB.
The rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder joins a front facing 2.0 megapixel chat cam in the camera combo. That rear device offers video capture at 1080 P HD resolution, and the front facing chat cam can also provide video call support. A built-in music player is present and supports all major audio file formats, and popular online destinations YouTube, Twitter, Picasa and Facebook have been pre-installed.
