At the moment, the HTC One is one of the more powerful handsets currently available in the market today. It is the current flagship device of the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer and with this status comes the fact that the handset boasts of a gorgeous exterior fashioned from premium materials and while its internals is just impressive with all the fire-breathing components under its hood. With these attributes, the HTC One will surely be one of the smartphones to watch out for this 2013.
The HTC One has started hitting the shelves on a global scale and with this, power users and hackers have set out to cracking the code of the handset to get access to the numerous personalization and customization options offered by the Android ecosystem. As early as a couple of weeks ago, it was reported that the bootloader of the handset can actually be unlocked via the HTCDev website. In addition to that, it was also reported a several days ago that HTC has already released the kernel source code of the HTC One which would give the boys and girls of the developer communities the chance to work their magic and come up with better and faster custom ROMs and kernels for the handset.
However, all those tasks are very daunting as you have to go through several steps and jump through hoops just to totally unshackle the HTC One. However, one developer from XDA Devs has come up with a simple solution to all of these and simplified the whole process of customizing your HTC One superphone.
Hasoon2000 of XDA Devs fame adapted his previous work on other HTC handsets managed to come up with an All-In-One toolkit that would enable an HTC One user to unlock the handset’s bootloader, root it and other options. With this in play, all you need to do is download the AIO toolkit, install it on your computer (this toolkit however is only for Windows-based PCs) and before you know it, you are already on your way to personalizing and customizing your HTC One handset.
