When the Kindle first showed up on the market, it was all about getting you to stop buying real books and get you to download eBooks to read at your leisure and while you are on the go. Now that the Kindle is more of an Amazon buying machine packaged inside a tablet, other services have come up that give the customer more power when looking to buy on the Amazon website. Amazon Prime is probably one of the best deals the internet has to offer and now Amazon added a new service that is free if you are a member.
The Kindle First service is new and allows users early access to new books that can be downloaded via the Kindle line of tablets. Each month, the company chooses new books to give early access to and for $1.99 per month, you can get the first look at them. As mentioned before, the Kindle First service is free to those that are Prime Members. Just like with any service, especially when it is offered for free at some point, is that there are down sides and for the Kindle First service, it happens to be the fact that you can only choose one book per month.
On the plus side, you do not have to be a Kindle owner in order to use the service. Any Amazon customers has access to the service, since all of the books will work with various platforms including Android and iOS. The service launched this week and is already taking on members that want to have early access to books they can read while on the go before anyone else gets a look at them. The four books that you can choose from this month are from categories like, General Fiction, Inspiration, Romance and Mystery.
The books on the list will be publically available to purchase on the 1st of December, but for a small fee, or free if you paid your yearly Prime Membership, you can get the book now and possibly have it read and reviewed before anyone else you know. Most of those that have Amazon as a regular stop in their online shopping trips already have Amazon Prime so this service is just another reason to pay the money and get spoiled by the largest online retailer in the world.
