A recent report is suggesting that Apple has increased the production and is now sitting on a very nice supply of the iPhone 5S. More than 60 Apple stores claim that the iPhone 5S is 90 percent available.
That is perfect news that is just in time for the busy holiday shopping season. Just a few weeks ago, Apple stores claimed that they were at just 31 percent availability for the iPhoen 5S, so that is a huge increase in a short time. As consumers flock to the stores this week to get the best deals, the 90 percent availability is going to come in very handy. When Apple first launched the iPhone 5S, the availability was around 95 percent, so the latest numbers are a little lower, but still very good considering most of the consumers that wanted the iPhone, already have it.
Availability of the iPhone 5S at the mobile carrier stores is another story. AT&T and Verizon Wireless claim the numbers are better than they were this time last year, which is also good news for those that do not have a local Apple Store to shop at. Currently, you can get the iPhone 5S shipped in 3 to 5 days from the Apple online store, which is much better than the 2 to 3 weeks that was posted on the website earlier this month. The supply of the iPhone 5S will meet the demand within the next month and that is right in line with what happened last year.
Since the day the iPhone 5S launched, there have been some issues getting stock and that is really based on the model that you want. The new, gold colored iPhone 5S was available, but quickly sold out and has been hard to come by since then. The 16GB model has been the most available, but many have decided that 32GB was the lowest they would go when it comes to internal storage for the iPhone.
