The Apple vs Samsung patent trial has now been concluded with the Cupertino-based company scoring a huge legal victory over the Korean electronics giant. With this development, Apple has already set in motion the process of having several Samsung smartphones banned in US shores. The company already filed a notice with the court and this notice identifies all the handsets that it seeks to have banned in our side of the world and this list includes the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket 4G.

Although the trial jury found infringement on majority of the 28 devices in question, Apple is only going after 8 of these and these handsets are as follows:

  • Samsung Galaxy S 4G
  • Samsung Galaxy S II
  • Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch
  • Samsung Galaxy S Showcase

The notice filed by Apple associates the devices with the patents that they are thought to have infringed on most of the devices listed above with the exception of the Samsung Galaxy Prevail were identified to have infringed on the company’s patent intellectual and design-related property (trade dress and design patents).
