Smartphone shoppers looking for a bargain price value on a full-featured bestseller just got 6 more AT&T 4G LTE markets to support the globally hot Galaxy S III smartphone. The handset was recently spotted at the Amazon Wireless store retailing for the reduced price of $79 on contract for the 16 GB version running on the AT&T 4G LTE network in the US. AT&T has been aggressively rolling out 4G LTE service across the United States, and while Verizon still has the largest network, AT&T is growing at a faster rate.
The 6 new markets to receive US LTE 4G coverage from AT&T are Northwest Georgia; Albany, Georgia; Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; Cecil County, Maryland; Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Portsmouth, Virginia and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. At the end of 2012 AT&T claimed more than 103 major markets in the United States with 4G LTE connectivity, and spokesmen for the wireless service provider said they will continue their aggressive rollout schedule.
