The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system rollout continues. North American AT&T Galaxy S4 owners should receive Android 4.3 beginning on November 13, and a recent announcement says that AT&T Galaxy S4 users can also expect to receive Android’s 4.4 KitKat version in the coming months. Sprint Galaxy S4 owners have also reported in North America that they are currently receiving the boost up to the Android 4.3 operating system.
AT&T is on schedule from their previously released announcement for the 4.3 Jelly Bean boost, and the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 smartphones will also be receiving Android’s 4.3 Jelly Bean OS soon. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer has stated that the US models of the Samsung Galaxy S4 across all four major wireless carriers will receive what they are calling a Premium Suite software update.
Included in the Android 4.3 update is Galaxy Gear Smartwatch support as well as the new Samsung KNOX security feature.
