If you happen to be a fanboy of the Windows Phone ecosystem, then you are most definitely aware that there are only two choices of handsets if you want to have a high-end Windows Phone 8-powered smartphone – the HTC Windows Phone 8X and the Nokia Lumia 920. Now, this is all about a matter of preference but if you happen to want to snub the flagship device of the Finnish manufacturer for the Windows Phone platform because of its bulk and heft, you know that you still have the HTC Windows Phone 8X as your other option.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X is available for a nice holiday discounted price tag now starting at $0.01.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X has been in the shelves of AT&T for almost a month now and when the handset first made its debut in the shelves of the wireless provider, its 8GB variant came with a price tag of $99.99 with a new two year service agreement with the carrier. A couple of weeks back, it was reported that AT&T has slashed the price of the handset to just pennies with the same service agreement making it a whole lot more affordable and easier on the budget.
We never expected the price point of the HTC Windows Phone 8X to go lower than this given the fact that the handset is a high-end device and comes with an impressive resume and brings a host of even more impressive capabilities to the table but that is what exactly happened. As it stands, AT&T decided to cut the price point of the HTC Windows Phone 8X yet again and has already given the green light to its authorized resellers to give the handset another price cut – a price cut that is just unbelievable for a device of its caliber.
With this price cut, the HTC Windows Phone 8X 4G has become the steal of the century over at AT&T and if you have been hoping to get one of these babies for the holiday season, now is probably the best time to take the plunge as the price point of the handset will not go any lower than this. Of course, you will still be required to sign a new two-year service agreement with the carrier to take advantage of the HTC Windows Phone 8X at its rock-bottom price point but even if you are averse to getting tied down to the carrier for two more years, believe me when I tell you that it is all worth it.
As for the HTC Windows Phone 8X, it has its circuitry built around its QualComm MSM8960 SnapDragon chipset which essentially brings to the handset a dual-core Krait processor clocked at 1.5 GHz working in partnership with a full gigabyte of RAM in delivering the computing muscle required by the handset. Storage space on the HTC Windows Phone 8X comes up to 8GB while its display is a 4.3-inch SuperLCD panel with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Its dual-shooter configuration on the other hand features a rear 8MP shooter and a front 2.1MP video call and self-portrait camera.
You can purchase the HTC Windows Phone 8X for just the change in your pocket now starting at $0.01.

There should be a warning in red letters in this article: “Non expandable 8 GB memory”.
8 GB non expandable is like buying a smartphone from 3 years ago.
This phone is barely usable. Smartphones from 2012, comes in 16/32/64 GB, many of those with the option to expand it to another 64GB.
