As of the moment, if you are interested in getting your hands on a very capable handset for the Windows Phone ecosystem, your options are rather limited especially if you want to go for a top-tier device. There’s the HTC Windows Phone 8X from Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC and then there’s the Nokia Lumia 920 4G from Finnish OEM Nokia. Both handsets have recently gotten the Portico update which is said to take care of issues such as random restarts so the two flagship devices are on equal footing so the last point of comparison that you are looking at right now is the price point of the two handsets. And this is where the Nokia Lumia 920 4G gets the edge.

With the current holiday season already upon us, wireless providers in our side of the world have been offering crazy deals to get you to hand over your hard-earned dinero for any of the devices they offer. AT&T is one of the carriers that currently has an offer that is very hard to ignore, much less refuse, and this deal has something to do with the Nokia Lumia 920 4G, its flagship device for the Windows Phone platform.

With this crazy deal, AT&T has already given the green light to its authorized resellers to slash the price of the Nokia Lumia 920 making it more affordable than ever. And with this holiday discount, anybody looking to jump ship to the Windows Phone platform would be hard-pressed to find a very capable device like the Nokia Lumia 920 4G at this price point. If you have been holding back on making the decision of making the handset your next mobile weapon of choice, now would be the best time to break that piggy bank because the price point of the Nokia Lumia 920 4G will no longer get lower than this. Of course, you will still be required to sign a new two-year service agreement with AT&T if you want to take advantage of the Nokia Lumia 920 4G at its listed price but this is a small price to pay. After all, you are getting Nokia’s flagship device for the Windows Phone platform at just a fraction of its price, yes?

As for the Nokia Lumia 920 4G, the addition of the handset to the Windows Phone lineup of AT&T was announced back in September but it wasn’t until November when the handset finally made it to the shelves of the carrier for mass consumption. Under the hood, the circuitry of the handset is built around its QualComm MSM8960 SnapDragon chipset which comes with a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and a full gigabyte of RAM. The storage space onboard the Nokia Lumia 920 4G is pegged at 32GB while its display is a 4.5-inch IPS TFT panel made from Gorilla Glass 2 with a 1280 x 768 resolution. As for its camera department, the Nokia Lumia 920 4G boasts of a main 8MP shooter at its back panel while its front panel houses the handset’s 1.3MP video call and self-portrait camera.
