It looks like those of you that are on the AT&T network will be getting a good look at your new Galaxy Note 3 when it starts to ship on the 1st of October after you pay the $299 for it with a new two-year contract. This is just one week after the release of the international version hits the market. AT&T has the Galaxy Note 3 on pre-order right now and has promised that orders would start to ship on the 1st. This date also lines up with the release date of the 2nd of October that was announced by T-Mobile.
Even thought AT&T is a very close partner with Samsung and might have been releasing the Note 3 ahead of other retailers, but it looks like Samsung wants to get sales flowing as soon as possible by getting the device to as many mobile carriers as possible. With the larger, 5.7-inch display, the Galaxy Note 3 is very affordable even for the 32GB model. AT&T is currently selling the Note 2 at the same price, so it could be an introductory offer for the latest model to hit the market.
There is more than one option for consumers when buying the device and is something that AT&T has been offering more these days. The $299 price is with a new two-year contract, while if you do not want to deal with a contract that is so long, you can get a 1 year contract, but you can going to pay $549 for the Galaxy Note 3. You can also go with a monthly payment plan of $35 per month for $20 and if you are signed up for the AT&T Next program, you will be getting a new phone after just 12 months.
You can, of course, get the Galaxy Note 3 without any contract at all by paying the full retail price of $729. The Galaxy Note 3 will be available in Jet Black and Classic White at this time, with the possibility of more colors to come in the future. The Galaxy Note 3 was showcased for consumers this week at the IFA 2013 event in Berlin, Germany. The device features a huge, 5.7-inch touch screen display with a full HD 1080p display. Another feature is the new S Pen that activates Air Command and will be getting reviewed very shortly.
