There have been a couple of leaked images over the last month or more that show a blue colored HTC One handset in pieces and assembled, but there was never any indication as to where the new color was going to show up in terms of a mobile carrier. Last week it was thought that the handset might end up on the Verizon Wireless network because the company had just finally launched the smartphone to customers months after other mobile carriers did. A new piece of evidence is suggesting that may not be the case.
The HTC One 4G in silver or black is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $49.99 .
A leaked internal document from the Sprint company reportedly shows that the blue HTC One will be making its way onto the Sprint network by the end of the next month. The internal stock document shows the HTC One in blue with an availability date of the 10th of September. There is no other information like pricing on the document, but you would be close if you were to guess that it will likely be sold for just $199.99 with a new two-year contract. The silver and black HTC One models are also being sold for a reduced price at select online retailers.
This leaked document cannot be used an official announcement from Sprint, but it is a very good start for those wondering what they will have as options if they would like to upgrade on the Sprint network. Other devices listed on the document show released dates that are similar to those that were posted online in the last few weeks, so that adds some truth to the document. Sprint is going to have to release an announcement before we know if the blue model will be exclusive to Sprint or if it will be sold on other networks.
