The Motorola Droid Razr M 4G Android smartphone hit the tech hungry United States consumer-electronics marketplace on September 10 on board the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. That system offers simultaneous voice and data access, and the compact handset delivers a smaller and lighter footprints than most 4G LTE smartphones. Following in the footsteps of extremely successful previous Droid Razr models, the handset borrows many popular features from those earlier Razr versions. The hardware bundle inside the Droid Razr M includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 suite of microchips that is built around a dual core 1.5 GHz Krait central processor. An Adreno 225 graphics processor is also on board, as is 1.0 GB of RAM system memory and 8.0 GB of built-in storage. The built-in microSD slot accepts microSD and microSDHC data storage cards up to 32 GB in size for storage expansion opportunities. Popular applications YouTube and Picasa have been pre-installed, and the familiar 8.0 megapixel camcorder from previous Droid Razr models has returned, offering video capture at 1,080P HD resolution. That rear mounted snapper also delivers autofocus, geo-tagging, touch to focus, face detection, image stabilization and LED flash features. Joining it in the camera combo is a front facing VGA quality chat cam, perfect for video calls and portrait snapshots. Google integration is found throughout the Droid Razr M, in the form of Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and Google Talk applications.
