The Web has been abuzz all day today with the release of the much anticipated Motorola Droid Razr. We have been reading reviews all week from experts, forums, smartphone gurus and more. But today was the day to get real reviews from Razr owners who just powered up and tested out their new device.
There was also lots of shopping around online as the Verizon folks have priced the new Motorola Droid Razr at a whopping $299 for new customers and existing customers who are eligible for an upgrade. That’s pretty pricey compared to the best deal going on from Amazon where they are letting new customers buy the Droid Razr for only $111.11. This has upset some of the tried and true loyal Verizon customers who are not eligible for the new customer discount. But remember that even at the upgrade price of $229, it’s still a much better deal than Verizon’s $299 offer.
As for the best deal of all, here is a video of some lucky original Motorola Razr owners getting a brand new Droid Razr from Verizon. That kind of thing never happens to me.
