If you have not been having any issues with your high-performance HTC Droid DNA 4G Android smartphone, this post really won’t apply to you. But if you are considering purchasing the popular smartphone that runs on Verizon’s 4G LTE network, then this article will bring some good news. And if you are one of the few Droid DNA 4G owners that has been getting occasional and annoying “SIM card error” messages, you will enjoy this latest software update being sent out to your phone.
Verizon has been busily pushing out a lot of updates for their handsets recently, and that is always a good thing. This is the most recent update for the HTC Droid DNA 4G, and it comprises a bug fix that addresses the above-mentioned issue. The vast majority of Droid DNA 4G smartphone owners have not reported this problem, and their handsets are probably working just fine. But the good news is that Verizon has aggressively been sending bug fixes, firmware updates and other software goodies to their handsets at a very high rate.
Verizon has not always been known as the leader in updating their handsets in a timely fashion, so kudos to them for addressing that issue. The handset has long been a best seller for Verizon, and consistently appears at the top of smartphone bestseller lists like the one frequently updated by Amazon. The HTC Droid DNA was recently spotted at a bargain priced retail of $49 on contract at that online retailer, and as of this writing is the best-selling smartphone on all Amazon.
Large, high res displays are a staple smartphone characteristic these days, and the HTC Droid DNA is certainly notable in that regard. The phone delivers a large 5.0 inch ImageChip ISP S-LCD 3 display with 1,080 x 1,920 pixel resolution. That 1,080P screen accepts capacitive, multitouch gestures, and is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. Pixel density is extremely high at 441 pixels per inch, and the Droid DNA 4G delivers the Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system out-of-the-box.
Also on board is a full 2.0 GB of RAM memory and a speedy quad core central processor, the exclusive Beats Audio sound enhancement package, and 50% better than average talk time from a single charge. The 2,020 mA battery on board the Droid DNA 4G provides up to 12.6 hours of talk time and 14.6 days of standby battery power from a full charge. 16 GB of internal storage is available, and the handset comes equipped with a rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder. Video capture runs 1,080P HD resolution, and simultaneous HD video and image capture is offered by HTC’s VideoPic feature.

Vast majority have not experienced this problem? Lol How about this; I’ve gone through 3 phones with this issue. Four of my friends have this phone and every single one of them have had this problem. In fact I don’t know a dna owner that hasn’t had this problem. But glad they got it fixed… Well potentially… We’ll see… Lol
