In 2012 HTC bought a controlling interest in the Beats by Dr. Dre audio business, which explains the presence of the sound boosting Beats Audio found on the HTC Droid DNA. A 2.5 volt headset amplifier joins dedicated speaker amps for “bigger and better sound.” And for a mobile handset with such a large display and jam-packed hardware package, the phone is slim and light. HTC has given the Droid DNA an ultra-matte finish and seamless laminated screen which helps eliminate reflection, as well as distinguishing red side grills.
The main camera on the phone has an 8.0 megapixel sensor, and delivers a multishot Best Shot feature that instantly takes a burst of images, allowing you to choose the best of the bunch.
