The HTC Droid Incredible 4G Android smartphone offers the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system out-of-the-box, and it meshes with the HTC Sense 4.0 user interface Android overlay. Accepting standard multitouch capacitive gestures for device navigation, the handset measures 4.82 x 2.40 x 0.46 inches (122 x 61 x 12 mm)in size and weighs in at 4.66 ounces (132 g), designed in the typical candy bar form factor as a flat, rectangular slab. The handset departs from the huge physical design which seems to be getting larger with each smartphone release, but still offers a large 4.00 inch screen.

The HTC Droid Incredible 4G is on sale now starting at 9.99.

Protected by a scratch resistant layer of Corning Gorilla Glass, the 4.00 inch Super LCD touchscreen delivers an above average pixel density of 275 pixels per inch, for an overall screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. More than 16 million unique colors are used to render visual imagery, a light sensor is on board for automatic screen brightness adjustment, and the built-in proximity sensor dims the display to conserve battery life when the handset is lifted to your face.

Talk time from a single charge of the 1,700 mA battery on board the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE runs approximately 20% better than the standard 4G smartphone, at 9.57 hours. Standby time runs better than two weeks at 18.6 days, and running the handset is a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon microchip package that is centered around a dual core 1.2 GHz Krait central processor. Allowing that CPU to focus on your most important requests is a separate Adreno 225 GPU which takes on the task of exclusively handling all graphics requests. 1.0 GB of RAM system memory is on board, and 8.0 GB of onboard, user accessible storage are present. A microSD slot is provided for storage expansion.

Built into the back of the handset is an 8.0 megapixel camcorder with LED flash built-in. That rear snapper is one of a few smartphone cameras which provides simultaneous HD video and image recording, capturing video at 1,080P HD in stereo sound. Joining that rear facing camcorder in the camera combo is a front facing 1.3 megapixel chat cam capable of recording video in 720P HD resolution, also offering video call support. The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE Android smartphone arrived on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system on July 5 of this year, and has a multimedia package which includes the full range Beats Audio sound system, a built-in music player, and a proprietary YouTube video player.

Buy the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE now starting at 9.99.

  1. Regarding the review, there is no way that they are using gorilla glass on these phones. I had the original droid Incredible for two years and never once got a single scratch. I have had the Droid Incredible 4G LTE for 1 month now, and I have 9 scratches on the screen from my wedding band.

The on-screen keyboard, while sensitive is poorly placed and consistently leads to typos, over and over again.

  2. Actually, if you visit this site: http://www.corninggorillaglass.com/products-with-gorilla/htc you will see that the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE is listed as a device that indeed has the gorilla glass. It might be possible that you received a defective phone since you know how the gorilla glass performs based on experience. These smartphones are too pricey to not get the performance you are expecting. Let us know how it turns out! Good luck.
