HTC is another company that sees the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to whether or not bigger is better. The company has had a very good year with the HTC One smartphone selling very well since appearing on the marketplace back in April of this year and since that release, the company has released the HTC One Mini, with a larger version called the One Max reportedly coming soon. A few new leaked images show the HTC One Max in detail and even give a little more confirmation to features that were rumors a week ago.
The pictures showed up in China and clearly show the back side of the device and is reportedly being called the HTC 8088 according to the site the images appeared on. One of the leaked images is of a screenshot that shows the 4G LTE support that will work with most carriers in the United States, as well as GSM support for T-Mobile and AT&T networks. Of the five images that were posted online, one of them is showing the back side where you can clearly see the camera sensor, flash component and a small square right under the sensor.
That small square is reportedly the finger print reader that was rumored to be coming with the new device about one month ago. Another feature that is clear to those that are familiar with smartphones today, shows that the HTC One Max will have support for wireless charging. The familiar, three small dots near the bottom of the device are used for wireless charging and are very similar to the ones that you can see on other smartphones like the Lumia 925 from Nokia. Because the back side of the HTC One Max is aluminum, users are going to need a case for the wireless charging to work correctly.
Other features that users can expect with the HTC One Max include a super fast, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm, 2GB of RAM and a microSD card slot for internal memory expansion. Other than that, you will easily notice the huge, 5.9-inch touch screen display that sports a high definition 1080p resolution. Initial reports indicated that the phone was going to launch during the fourth quarter, so you have just a couple months to wait for the device.
