htconex+Arriving on the AT&T 4G LTE system in the United States on November 16, the HTC One X+ is available in your choice of either stealth black or polar white. As is identified by the “+” after the name, the handset improves on the already powerful HTC One X smartphone. As the first mobile handset ever designed with an NVIDIA 4+1 quad core processor and Jelly Bean 4.1 Android operating system delivered out-of-the-box, the HTC One X+ also offers some other impressive features.

The HTC One X+ is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $139.99.

With most phones delivering dual core processors that offer great speed and efficiency, the HTC One X+ actually delivers five cores to its CPU. That battery preserving 5th core handles extremely low-draw jobs and requests, allowing the main quad cores of the CPU to focus on more important operations. The handset also improves battery size to 2,100 mA, and with 64 GB of internal memory, the HTC One X+ delivers two to four times more out-of-the-box, built-in data storage than the typical 4G smartphone.

The HTC Sense UI v4+ is integrated with Jelly Bean 4.1, and standard capacitive, multitouch gestures are supported. The amount of hardware on board the handset, coupled with such a large display, would usually mean a thick and heavy smartphone. However, HTC designers have kept the powerful HTC One X+ thin and light comparatively, and it measures 0.35 inches (8.9 mm) in thickness, weighing only 4.55 ounces (129 g).

Although it is light and thin, the HTC one X+ handset delivers a large 4.70 inch display which is protected against scratches and chips with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 2. That super LCD 2 screen delivers a high-end pixel density, at 312 pixels per inch. This gives an overall display resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels, and more than 16 million separate colors are present on that display. In the hardware package we find the above-mentioned industry-leading 64 GB of built-in storage, as well as 1.0 GB of RAM memory.

The GPU on board is a ULP GeForce model which has been clocked at 520MHz, and the NVIDIA Tegra 3 AP37 system chip is built around the aforementioned quad core 1.7 GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor. The rear facing camcorder is an 8.0 megapixel model, capable of 1,080P HD resolution recording at a speed of 30 frames per second. Up front facing the HTC One X+ user is a 1.6 megapixel camcorder which offers video call support. The handset is also home to the full range Beats Audio sound system, a YouTube video player has been pre-installed, and the handset offers NFC wireless support out-of-the-box.

You can purchase the HTC One X+ for a discounted price tag now starting at $139.99.
