HTC and AT&T debuted the One X 4G Android smartphone at the CTIA Wireless Expo and Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana this year, and that handset has quickly become a flagship phone for AT&T’s 4G LTE network. Delivering the Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0 Android operating system, Beats Audio and the first smartphone capability to simultaneously capture high-resolution HD video and images, the handset recently benefited from a retail price reduction starting $119 at select retailers with a standard new two-year activation and data plan.

At that CTIA Wireless Convention the HTC One X 4G was awarded video dedicated website Videomaker’s Best of CTIA 2012 Smartphone award for the overall feature package the handset delivers. Also in the hardware package is a Qualcomm MSM8960Qualcomm suite of microchips that includes a dual core 1.5 GHz Krait central processor and graphics dedicated Adreno 225 GPU. The handset contains 1.0 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB of built-in storage.
As mentioned above, the HTC One X 4G is the first handset in the world to deliver simultaneous HD video and image recording, and that is provided by the rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder.
