The HTC One smartphone is a very popular and capable mobile handset. Delivering what is arguably the most powerful feature package ever designed for a phone, the HTC One is run by a powerful quad core processor, delivers a groundbreaking new camera technology called the UltraPixel, and offers the highest pixel density found on any smartphone display. The special camera located on the back of the handset also offers what HTC is calling their Zoe mode, which gives you some very special editing abilities.

Among the many special effects the back facing camera can provide is the ability to actually remove objects from photos taken in Zoe mode. Simply open the camera application on your HTC One, and to turn on Zoe tap the camera icon on your screen. You will see a notification at the bottom of your display that you are in Zoe mode. When holding your HTC One smartphone in landscape mode, you will find the shutter button on the right side of the handset, and on the bottom if you are capturing shots in portrait mode.
The premier camera on the HTC One does offer image stabilization, but keep your hands as steady as possible, as the special editing capabilities that Zoe offers requires a longer screen capture. Then simply snap a shot as you usually would, and access your recently taken photos. In your gallery, the most recent photo appears first, and you simply tap the screen to bring up your Zoe enabled snapshot and editing controls. From the edit menu tap Retouch, then Object Removal. Zoe then begins looking for objects or people that moved during your Zoe shot.
Any objects which can be removed will be highlighted by a white rectangle, and you can simply tap will a square which you see on the bottom left of your display to remove an individual object. Then tap Save to store the edited photo. This is a very handy feature if at the last second something walks directly in front of an object you are trying to photograph. It will also be of great use to sports photographers and those HTC One owners frequently shooting moving objects, or taking photographs where there is frequent and constant motion.
The HTC One made a big splash in the mobile marketplace when it launched with the Snapdragon 600 quad core processor, delivering up to 40% more power than the popular Snapdragon S4 Pro. The phone also boasts a large 4.70 inch Full HD 1,080P display with 1,080 x 1,920 pixel resolution, and industry-leading 468 ppi pixel density. The premier camera we mentioned above offers a 2 UltraPixel lens capable of capturing up to 300% more light than the typical smartphone camera of 8 or 13 megapixels.
