If there is one manufacturer that can be relied on to be very timely in the release of important updates to its line of devices, ASUS would be the first company that comes to mind. In fact, when Google unveiled Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the latest incarnation of its mobile operating system a little over a month ago at Google I/O, ASUS immediately took the stage and announced that it will have many of its tablet devices updated to Jelly Bean. More specifically, the manufacturer mentioned that the Android 4.1 refresh can be expected to land on the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity and two other tablets in the coming months.
It turns out that users of the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity will not have to wait very long for the update to land. Apparently, ASUS has already started the rollout of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity as early as a couple of days back. In fact, ASUS made no announcement about it and those lucky users of the tablet were surprised in a good way when the update cranked up the version of their ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity slates to Jelly Bean.
As usual, the Jelly Bean update is being rolled out via OTA but in a gradual manner so not everybody will get it at the same time. If you happen to rock an ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity for your tablet device of choice, this simply means that you might want to be on the lookout for that update that will give your device some Jelly Bean loving. If you have on patience checking your tablet every once in a while, you might as well just force the tablet to manually check for the update and pray the it returns something tangible. If the update still doesn’t come up, just be a little patient – it should be there in a couple of days.
With Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in its internals, the performance of the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity becomes a whole lot smoother. You also get access to Google Now along with Google Voice Search but the only trade-offs are the OS’ incompatibility with Flash and Wi-Fi Direct.
As for the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity, the tablet was unveiled back in February but it was only in July that it finally made its debut in the shelves. It is a quad-core monster with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 T33 chipset powering its operation while a combination of 1GB of RAM and quad-core 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor delivers the computing muscle required by the tablet. The tablet was released in 32GB and 64GB in terms of storage space and a microSD slot in its chassis enables its users to expand the internal memory of the device. Display-wise, the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity comes with a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ CD capacitive multitouch panel with a 1920 x 1200 resolution while its camera department features a rear 8MP shooter and a front 2MP snapper.
Update: Although we have gotten reports of updates on the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700, it appears that the TF300 tablet is being updated currently and the Infinity is moving at a slower rate.

What are your sources?
“Apparently, ASUS has already started the rollout of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity as early as a couple of days back.” — apparently not, unless you can provide some evidence.

I am very happy with my Infinity 64 gig and had plugged in 32gig Class 10 microsd ( I wonder if it will accept 64 gig micro sd ) and in the keyboard dock 32GIG micro thumb drive and 32 gig SD card. which makes a total of 160 gig flash memory. I use a powered usb hub for mouse , 500 gig HDD, stereo speakers and that 32 gig thumb drive. The only media player that can play all formats of movies flawlessly is BS Player Free. I just got a portable wifi/3g so I can use infinity when out of wifi range. I have ordered USB LAN adapter and I hope it will work.

If I check for a firmware update from the tablet, it says an update is not available. Like others have said, what are your sources? Give some proof and/or evidence if you’re going to post an article like this.
With this seemingly false information in this article, how am I to ever believe anything from your website in the future?

THIS IS COMPLETELY FALSE!!! THERE ARE NO SOURCES!! Just go to XDA developers for real news about virtually any mobile device. If they are not saying it there… IT DID NOT HAPPEN!!
