As of the moment, the Samsung Galaxy S III is still one of the most powerful devices in the smartphone market. Not only that, it is also one of the most, if not THE most popular handsets that you can get your hands on. In fact, the popularity of the current Samsung flagship device has reached heights never before seen in a smartphone with sales figures of the handset already hitting the 30 million mark since getting released in the latter parts of May.

The Samsung Galaxy S III is available for a reduced price at select online retailers now starting at 99.99.

In addition to that, the handset has already been given a taste of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean although the rollout of the refresh was only done in certain European and Asian territories. As expected, carrier-branded versions of the Samsung Galaxy S III released in US shores with the exception of the Sprint variant of the superphone are still waiting for their chance to get cranked up to Jelly Bean. This delay in the update process has always been the case in US shores because these wireless providers need to test the update first before it gives the green light for it to get rolled out -  a process that delays the arrival of the update unnecessarily.

But if you happen to rock a Samsung Galaxy S III from T-Mobile, your months of waiting for Android 4.1 has finally come to a merciful and screeching end. Word on the street is that the Magenta carrier has finally gotten around to rolling out the Jelly Bean refresh to its version of the Samsung flagship device. A lot of sources have already reported that they already received the update on their smartphones via OTA and the Jelly Bean refresh will crank up the software version of the Samsung Galaxy S III to T999UVDLJA.

The handset was offered in a 16G and 32GB variants in terms of storage space which you still can expand using the microSD card slot of the Samsung Galaxy S III.
