Now that the United States is getting a taste of the new LG G Flex on some of the mobile carriers, it is time to talk about another smartphone that might be coming along with the G Flex to T-Mobile. According to reports, the network is going to be offering the LG Optimus F3Q along with the LG G Flex. One thing that might stand out a little bit is the fact that the F3Q is actually equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard. A feature that might have been reserved for Blackberry handsets in the past, has made its way to an Android powered device.
T-Mobile sent out a press release this week to detail the new smartphone and for the most part, compared to other devices on the market, the F3Q is nothing to really write home about. The phone features a small, 4-inch IPS touch screen display and a 5MP camera on the back side, which isn’t all that bad in terms of taking photos in good light. T-Mobile did mention that the phone will come with QuickMemo software add-on, which is a popular application that allows users to write directly on the screen to take notes.
Other features for the Optimus F3Q are not known right now, but the odds are good that the rest of the hardware will be subpar, or entry level as some might call it. Other software features include a multitasking feature that allows users to “float and use two apps over the main screen”. Buying the new QWERTY equipped smartphone will cost nothing down and because of the new T-Mobile installment plans, the phone will cost you just $13 per month more than your data plan, until you pay the full retail price of $312.
As mentioned earlier, the LG G Flex is also coming to T-Mobile and that phone is gaining popularity now that mobile carriers in the United States are talking about offering it to customers. The curved smartphone is going to be launching on February 5th on the T-Mobile network and the phone activation will come with six months free of Netflix to use. The phone costs you just $0 down when you pick it up and just $28 per month until the full $576 retail price is paid in full.
