According to a Vietnam based blog which has previously leaked accurate information about various flagship devices from Samsung, Apple, Motorola and LG, the Nexus 5 could still possibly release this year and it will not be manufactured by Motorola. The blog which released this information has in the past provided the first leaks about phones like the Galaxy S III, iPhone 4S and also Moto X, which makes the source quite credible. It is believed that these leaks originate from the assembly facilities that these companies have established in Vietnam, as LG has recently invested more than 1.5 billion dollars in two new factories in the region.

It is expected that Google’s Nexus 5 will again come from LG for the second year running and it will be based on the company’s flagship G2 phone. Although it is unlikely that the Nexus will get the G2’s unorthodox features like the back buttons, it will probably feature similar specs as the LG flagship like the Snapdragon 800 chipset and a 5” display. It is also rumored that the Google phone will have a glass back, just like its predecessor, in what is shaping out to be a heavyweight Android device, even more so if Google decide to release it at a lower price range like they did with the previous Nexus. It is still not certain if G2’s OIS technology and great audio quality will make its way to the Nexus 5; however if these claims are to be believed, more leaks are in store for the near future.

In other news, it was rumored a while back the next edition of the Kindle Fire HD could feature the best of hardware features with a high resolution display. This has been corroborated by another piece bit of evidence which has just been leaked. The GFXBench databases have registered an unknown Android 4.2.2 device manufactured by Amazon with a code name “Apllo”, which boasts of top notch hardware.  The device’s display resolution is 2560×1600 which indicates it to be a tablet, whereas its Adreno 330 graphics along with a 2.15 GHz CPU points towards a Snapdragon 800 chipset powering the device.

It is probably a good guess that the tablet which was benchmarked is indeed the next generation 8.9” Kindle Fire HD. It is also being said that the same model will offer a front facing camera, an 8 megapixel rear camera, options of cellular connectivity and 2 GB RAM with internal storage optional between 16, 32 and 64 GB.
