LG has been making the rounds very quickly these days when it comes to new devices and top notch models at that. Consumers can take a look at the LG devices and know they are getting top of the line products and that was very evident when the public was introduced to the LG G2 smartphone. One that came along back in August of this year and sports some of the best features on the market including the super fast, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm. The processor, which is only available on a couple devices, is reportedly clocked at 2.3GHz.
The LG G2 is one device that is official and will be turning heads all over the world, but the company did not stop there and according to reports, is getting ready to release another smartphone with top notch features. The LG Vu 3 is an official device and will be coming with a large, 4:3 display, just like the last two models of the Vu smartphone did. The display might not be as standard as others on the market and it gives the Vu 3 a more square look, although LG has changed the design just enough that the new devices will look a lot more like previous models.
One feature that is different on this device that will be noticeable compared to older models is that it comes with a stylus that is built into the design of the phone. Older models came with the accessory, but it was not built into the body of the phone. Other specs for the LG Vu 3 include a 5.2-inch IPS touch screen display with a 1280×960 resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory LTE-Advance support and a 13MP camera on the back side.
The front side of the device features that huge display with a smaller, 2.1MP webcam above it. The battery is listed at 2160mAh, which could give you around 10 hours of continuous usage given the fact that the quad-core processor is more efficient. The Vu 3 will come with Android 4.2.2 pre-installed along with the customized version of the LG user interface, similar to the one that can be found on the LG G2. The user interface brings features like KnockON, which will turn on your device when the display is tapped twice.
