Besides just about any smartphone that Samsung comes up with each year, anything that Apple is going to launch is going to get plenty of attention from consumers all over the world. With the iPhone being released last year with a cheaper model with it for the first time since it arrived in 2007, Apple proved that it was trying to get more iPhones on the market. With a recent deal in China, Apple is moving towards global mobile domination and now it is about time to start thinking about what the iPhone 6 is going to be bringing us.
The iPhone 5S brought new technology for the user interface, better camera software and a new processor built on 64-bit technology. That means that the iPhone 6 is just going to have to be that much better, if history plays any part of designing new smartphones. Most of the consumers that showed up on the floor at the Consumer Electronics Show this year were worried about the Samsung Galaxy S5, but that does not mean that many were not asking about the sixth generation iPhone. The first bunch of rumors has hit the web and first on the list is that the phone will be made by a company based in China called Pegatron.
This is the same company that makes the iPhone 5C and the iPad Mini and according to the reports, it will be taking at least half of the iPhone 6 orders. Most Apple users are aware that any time the new iPhone goes on sale, the demand outweighs the supply, so if two companies are making the device, maybe that will not be the case this time around. Pegatron has built a new facility in China and that will be operational by the time production is ready to begin for the new iPhone.
Initial rumors put an 8MP camera sensor on the new iPhone, rather than a larger, 13MP model that seems to be more popular these days. Although less megapixels, the technology is expected to be improved, especially optical image stabilization. Other rumors include a new, larger display size that could measure up to 5.7-inches, with more pixels as well. May seems to be the month that many rumors are pointing to for a release timeframe. Another rumor that surfaced this week suggested that Apple is coming out with a phablet device that could launch in May as well.
