There is a lot on this phone I am waiting for, mainly the dual-core processor and 4G. I love streaming movies so with all of these features, the Bionic should have no problem keeping up with me. The app that I use to stream is the DISH Remote Access app. I love this app because it lets me stream movies and TV shows anywhere I am! As a customer and employee of DISH Network, I have been using the DISH Remote Access app for a long time on my previous phone, and I know that it is going to work great on the Bionic once I get it!

Pardon the fact that I’m no “technophile”, but would a dual core LTE phone have faster download/upload speeds compared to a single core LTE phone?…The article suggests it would, and i know that a dual core processor will run apps and the os faster w/ gingerbread…but does single core vs. dual core have anthing to do with download/upload speeds?

Hopefully all the bells and whistles perform as advertised, but for me, all I care about at this point is something with a battery that doesn’t take a crap at 6 months out. The Bionic is being touted as having monster battery life, so we’ll see.

You can call the Bionic a lot of things but “rushed to market is not one of them” I think they have polished this baby to perfection.

Still using my TREO on Win Mobile; 3-G Verizon, but patiently waiting for a 4-G alternative; hoping Bionic is it. Will turn 4-G off to conserve battery but want the 4-G when I NEED it. I will wait, as proven by my current device. Much rather wait for a device that WORKS instead of having something rushed to market that is full of bugs.

Moto……has let me down for the last time! The Droid was good and the Droid X had me thinking they were headed in the right direction. Wrong! The Xoom (strike 1), Droid X2, dual core~3g~no ffc (strike 2), Bionic….numerous release dates which is torture for someone like me with 2 lines upgradeable for the last 6 months (STRIKE 3). For Moto to get my money again they better have the nexus prime, other than that im done! They dont improve their phones with new bells and whistles like Sammy and HTC. With what’s out now Moto looks to be 1 step ahead of LG and 2 steps behind Sammy and HTC.

At $299 that is simply too much for any phone. We may replace with the Charge after seeing the demos on You Tube. I’m already tired of the guessing games as to configuration, release date and price. It’s time companies come clean and stop the games.

Phil, there are phones like the Galaxy SII running dual core CPU’s and gingerbread aka Android 2.3 No problems there.

The HTC Thunderbolt is a peice of crap no battery life at all might good for the female persuasion not for men though and if you do alot of data forget the battery i had one. I decided to switch to the Droid Charge and I love it even the LG Revolution is better than HTC Thunderbolt
