In keeping with the tradition of previous Droid Razr devices like the Droid Razr 4G and Droid Razr MAXX, the Motorola Droid Razr M is thin, but not to the point where it sacrifices battery life or processing power. The handset is offered in your choice of either black or white, and was released on September 10 on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system in the United States. Originally delivering the Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0 operating system out-of-the-box, the Motorola Droid Razr M is currently receiving an over the air update to the 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
Slim at 0.33 inches (8.3 mm), the handset is also light at 4.44 ounces (126 g) in comparison to other 4G LTE mobile handsets. But the Droid Razr M 4G still delivers a large 4.30 inch screen, although in a much more compact form factor than is typically offered. By stretching the display from edge to edge, Motorola designers have created the smallest phone possible for such a large screen. Display resolution runs 540 x 960 pixels, delivered at 256 pixels per inch. That Super AMOLED advanced display is protected by a scratch resistant layer of Gorilla Glass, and uses more than 16 million colors.
The laser cut Kevlar and aluminum body design is present from previous Droid Razr models, as is splash resistant protection. DLNA offers video out options, and talk time runs extremely high from a single battery charge, at 20.0 hours. Standby time runs 17.0 days, and the hardware package on board the handset includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 suite of microchips. An Adreno 225 GPU handles all graphics processing, and at the core of the hardware package is a dual core 1.5 GHz Krait central processor. 1.0 GB of RAM memory and 8.0 GB of built-in storage are also present. The built-in microSD slot allows for storage expansion opportunities supporting cards up to 32GB in size.
A front facing VGA quality chat cam allows the Motorola Droid Razr M 4G user to snap portrait snapshots or place video calls, and an 8.0 megapixel camcorder is around back. That rear facing snapper delivers an LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging and touch to focus features, capable of recording video in stereo sound, and at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (1,080p HD). Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk and Picasa applications are on board, as is a built-in music player which supports all major audio file formats.
Buy the Motorola Droid Razr M for a reduced price now starting at 49.99.
