Have you ever wanted to take a quick screenshot of just what you were looking at on your smartphone display? There are many reasons why a smartphone owner may want to quickly capture a screenshot that they can either save or share with their friends, and now the new Motorola Droid Razr M smartphone gives you that capability. And that screen shot image is immediately saved to your gallery where you can share it on Facebook or Twitter, or keep it for future reference. Here is just what you need to do to access this handy new feature delivered by the most recent Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smartphone.
First, get your display exactly as you want it captured. Then just press and hold your “volume down” and “power” buttons simultaneously, and keep holding them down for approximately 2 seconds. You will know you did it correctly when your screen flashes. That means your screenshot has been immediately saved to your gallery. The applications of this handy feature are virtually limitless, allowing you to remember street addresses, map locations or directions by taking a screenshot of Google Maps, or allowing you to share a regrettable late-night text message from one of your friends.
Obviously, Motorola did not design the Droid Razr M 4G Android smartphone with just this versatile little feature. While delivering a large 4.3 inch screen, Motorola designers allow that display to go from edge to edge, keeping the Droid Razr M 4G LTE as compact and small as possible. Thin at only 0.33 inches (8.3 mm), the handset is also very light at only 4.44 ounces (126 g). The splashproof nanocoating interior is back from the Droid Razr and Droid Razr MAXX, as is the Kevlar and aluminum coated design and Corning Gorilla Glass protective screen overlay. Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) 4.0 operating system is present out-of-the-box.
The 4.30 inch screen delivers a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, and that Super AMOLED Advanced display renders visuals in more than 16 million colors. An incredible 20.00 hours of talk time is achieved from a single charge of the oversized and extended life 2,000 mA battery on board, nearly matching its Droid Razr MAXX sibling for 4G-best performance. A dual core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and Adreno 225 GPU are on board the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960mmicrochip package, and the handset delivers 8.0 GB of built-in storage and 1.0 GB of RAM system memory. An 8.0 megapixel camcorder offers video capture at 1,080P HD resolution, and a VGA quality chat cam faces the user up front.
