From Jan 26 to June 29th I loved my MAXX and told everyone who would listen what a great phone it was. On June 30 the ICS update trashed the battery life and several important features that I used every day, and had made sure worked correctly before I kept the phone during the original return period. Now it has been broken for over 3 months, I've spent MANY hours with Verizon and Moto tech support, and no fix. I was also recently told by Moto that there would be no ICS fix, but it would go straight to JB. No clue about when, though. If this thing was a car, they would be forced to buy it back under the "lemon law" -- time for similar legislation for phones! I'm seriously considering suing my local Verizon store, where I bought the phone, in small claims court. No discount, no comps of any kind, just keep paying full price for this @#$@#$ crippled phone. This was my first Moto phone, and I can't think of a single reason to consider another one. Too bad, the hardware was nice. Customer support SUCKS!!! Vicki — I agree COMPLETELY. I called Verizon and they said there is not going to be a bug fix for ICS. They are going to JUMP right into Jelly Bean and bypass the bug fix all together for ICS. They DO NOT KNOW when we all will be getting Jelly Bean however. Isn't that nice to hear????? i used to LOVE my MAXX B4 the update. My battery life is now similar to my old phone with a battery half the size. Verizon and Motorola really need to fix this, otherwise the biggest selling point of this phone is no advantage vs. Anything else on the market.
