Launched on October 18 on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network in the US, the Droid Razr MAXX HD 4G Android smartphone contains a remote wipe feature, personal identification number lock and government grade data encryption to protect your personal information. The handset is offered in your choice of black or white currently, and delivers the slim 0.37 inch (9.3 mm) profile.
A scratch resistant layer of Corning Gorilla Glass protects the display, the tough DuPont Kevlar back plate has returned from previous Droid Razr models, as has the aircraft grade aluminum framing. A Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 microchip package is on board, built around a dual core 1.5 GHz CPU. 1.0 GB of RAM memory has been included, as has a microSD slot for storage expansion. The Droid Razr MAXX HD also delivers a rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder with high res video capture running 1,080P HD resolution.
