The Motorola Droid Razr MAXX HD is a 4G Android smartphone that has been running exclusively on Verizon’s US 4G LTE system since October of last year. Delivering a large high-resolution screen, powerful processor and high-resolution video capture, the handset also copies the slim form factor and durable, physical design features that have been present on previous Droid Razr smartphone models. And Big Red also includes a few special services of its own.
The DROID RAZR MAXX HD by Motorola is available now starting at $199.99.
Verizon has given the Motorola Droid Razr MAXX HD what they call the Backup Assistant. Pretty self-explanatory, this is a complementary service that backs up your mobile contact information automatically, to your online address book. This is helpful if your phone is lost or stolen, or you decide to upgrade your handset. It allows you to quickly and simply restore all your saved address book information to your new phone. There are no subscription fees, and you can also edit the information before you send the changes to your new phone.
The VZ Navigator is a wireless service (additional charges may apply) that works with the GPS in your handset to provide turn-by-turn directions and local search capabilities, supporting almost 14 million different US locations. Verizon has also included their Visual Voice Mail service, which unlike typical phone messaging services, gives you the ability to reply, forward and even delete voicemail messages without having to cycle through previous messages, or listen to instructions.
Verizon has also designed the Droid Razr MAXX HD as a global ready phone, and it supports connectivity in wireless networks located in more than 205 countries around the world. Sports fans will appreciate that the Verizon-exclusive NFL Mobile application is present, delivering all the scores and news from the National Football League. A PIN lock, remote hard drive wipe and government grade data encryption are also on board, and the handset is durable thanks to a DuPont Kevlar fiber back plate, aircraft grade aluminum framing and Gorilla Glass scratch protection.
Built with a slim 0.37 inch (9.3 mm) profile, the handset also delivers a large, extended life 3,300 mA battery. This leads to a full 21.0 hours of talk time from a single battery charge, and the Super AMOLED display delivers a resolution of 720 by 1,280 pixels. That screen is 4.70 inches and offers video out options, and the Droid Razr MAXX HD is powered by a dual core 1.5 GHz CPU. The handset also offers 1.0 GB of LP DDR2 RAM and 32 GB built-in data storage, as well as a microSD slot for storage expansion.
The DROID RAZR MAXX HD by Motorola can be purchased now starting at $199.99.
