motoxAt the moment, the Motorola Moto X is one of the most popular handsets in the smartphone market today. Though not as powerful as flagship devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One or the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and LG G2, the Motorola Moto X is still capable enough to be a threat to the above-mentioned devices. In addition to that, the Motorola Moto X comes with a feature called Moto Maker that enables its user to personalize and customize the appearance of the handset to his liking.

The handset was released in US shores by AT&T last August 23 followed shortly by Verizon but those on Sprint had to wait a little longer for the Now Network to release its variant of the Motorola Moto X in our side of the world. If you happen to have Sprint for your wireless provider and are waiting for the Motorola Moto X to finally make its debut in the shelves of the carrier, the waiting game is finally over.

As it stands, the Now Network has finally gotten around to releasing the Motorola Moto X, and the handset is now available in the shelves of the carrier, both online and in brick and mortar retail locations. Those interested in making the Motorola Moto X their next mobile device of choice will have to fork over $199.99 and sign a new two-year contract with the Now Network in the process. If you happen to be a new customer jumping over to Sprint, the carrier will even throw in a $100 credit which will enable you to purchase the Motorola Moto X for only $99.99 with the same contract.

In addition to that, Sprint is including a “Lifetime Unlimited Guarantee” with the Motorola Moto X which basically means that customers who get the handset from the carrier will enjoy unlimited talk, text, and data for the life of the line of service. Not only that, customers getting the Sprint variant of the Motorola Moto X will also get the opportunity to get the bootloader of the handset unlocked via the Motorola My Moto Care portal. This means that the Sprint Motorola Moto X can get access to root privileges, custom recoveries and ROMs, and all other stuff that will enable you to personalize and customize your handset.

Going back to the specs sheet of the Motorola Moto X, the handset runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for its operating system and it has its circuitry built around a QualComm MSM8960 Pro SnapDragon chipset. A dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait processor works in conjunction with 2GB of RAM in ensuring that the performance of the handset is always at peak levels. Storage-wise, the Motorola Moto X can be had in a 16GB and a 32GB edition though the handset doesn’t support memory expansion. As for its display, the device comes with a 4.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 1280 x 720 resolution while its dual-shooter configuration features a rear 10MP shooter and a front 2MP video call and self-portrait snapper.
