Samsung was on a very good pace in the smartphone game even before the release of the first Galaxy series handset. Now that handsets like the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S3 have set the bar very high for other companies, it appears that Samsung is going to focus on bringing more smartphone options to those that are looking for entry level to mid-range devices. With the recent smartphone release being the Galaxy Note 3, many have been waiting around for another that was promised to come with the huge phablet device.
Besides recently hearing about the Galaxy Note 3 Lite, it appears that Samsung is getting another smartphone ready for the stores. That new smartphone is being called the Galaxy J and it looks like it could be available in the next couple of months starting in Taiwan. According to one online source, the Galaxy J will be launching on the 9th of December and will be on store shelves before the reported release of the Galaxy S5. The Galaxy S5 is set to replace the Galaxy S4 from this year, which ended up being one of Samsung most popular and hottest selling devices.
Rumors indicate that the fifth edition of the Galaxy series smartphone is going to arrive earlier in the year than any Samsung handset has before. Many are expecting to see some sort of announcement in February, with the handset ready to ship by the end of March. The Galaxy S5 is reportedly going to be arriving with an all aluminum body much like the one that you would find on the HTC One that was released back in April of this year. The specs for the Galaxy J are quite impressive and they start with the huge, 5-inch 1080p HD touch screen display.
Rumors also suggest that the phone will carry the fastest quad-core processor on the market today in the Snapdragon 800 from Qualcomm. The fast processor comes paired up with 3GB of RAM which is more than enough to keep the multitasking moving very slowly. The back side will feature a 13MP camera with flash and all the software extras that are typical today. Basically, it would seem that the phone is a cross between the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy S4. After Taiwan other markets will see the device, but for now, there is no indication it could arrive here.
