Just like with every other device that hits the market, third party accessory makers try and be the first to sell you accessories for the device you didn’t even purchase yet. The iPhone is a perfect example of this and according to reports, the accessories for the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 release are next in line. The launch date is still expected to be the 4th day of next month with a shipping date a little later and cases and extended batteries have already started to show up on the market.
Amazon is usually a good place to check out new accessories and at last check, the website had some accessories like cases made by Hyperion. Since those cases showed up on the Amazon website this week, a trove of other cases and battery options popped up for consumers to choose from. InventCase is one company that has several different cases for the Galaxy Note 3 are they are compatible with both the SM-N900 and the SM-N9005 models. InventCase made a note to mention the cases would be available for the AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless models. The company commented saying the case were ready for the Galaxy Note device to be “released in September 2013” and that they are ready to ship 3 to 5 weeks after launch.
Hyperion is not offering any more cases, but the company does have an extended battery option that is ready for the Galaxy Note 3 customers that want a little more time between charges. The company offers the same option for those that have the Galaxy Note 2 and many customers have positively reviewed them in the past. The size of the battery is not listed, but the company listed them at $10 for the product that will ship within 5 weeks of launch time.
There is a bad side to buying accessories before the smartphone hits the market and that is because the companies are racing to deliver products, but fail to actually deliver the product in the end. A lot of times, the cases, batteries and more are not the right size and will not fit the current model as they were developed with older measurements, etc. Since you will have to wait 5 weeks for the product, you might as well wait until the accessories are officially launched and buy one after you make your purchase.
