The Samsung Galaxy Note is definitely one of the hottest Android-powered smartphones today and its massive display makes it look like a cross between a tablet and a smartphone. When the phablet was announced by the Korean smartphone manufacturer last year, there was no indication at the time of its unveiling if the Samsung Galaxy Note would make its way to US shores. Thankfully it did, courtesy of AT&T which is now offering the phablet in our side of the world.

We can’t find any fault in the Samsung Galaxy Note aside from the fact that the phablet was released in very limited colors. The original version of the phablet came in a black colorway, the dominant hue among smartphones today and after a couple of months, Samsung also came out with the Ceramic White version of the Samsung Galaxy Note, a move that is to be expected given the trend of manufacturers of releasing their usually clad in black smartphones in a lily-white version.
If you still find these colors boring, then you are in a surprise. Looking back, Samsung took center stage at CeBIT in Germany this year and shown off a pink clad version of the Samsung Galaxy Note. And now, the Berry Pink version of the phablet has reached official status and has already made its debut in the shelves in Samsung’s home town of South Korea. There are no indications however if this version of the Samsung Galaxy Note with the pink treatment will make its way to US shores courtesy of AT&T but we are hoping that it does to give the ladies who want a piece of the phablet action more choices.
As for the Berry Pink version of the Samsung Galaxy Note, it is considered an all-pink affair. The whole frame of the phablet has been given the pink paint job and the S-Pen stylus also got the same treatment for a more cohesive design that will definitely appeal to women. As for its internals, nothing has been changed and the components under the hood of the Samsung Galaxy Note essentially remain the same. Looking back, the original version of the Samsung Galaxy Note was announced back in September of last year and hit the shelves a month later. The phablet is not advisable for people with dainty hands given its massive size and dimensions of 146.9 x 83 x 9.7 mm and weight of 178 grams.
It is all power under the hood though with an Exynos chipset bringing a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz paired with a full gigabyte of RAM for a smooth performance while its onboard memory is pegged at 16GB. This is expandable through the use of its microSD card slot while its display measures 5.3 inches diagonally and is of the SuperAMOLED variant. It also comes equipped with a very capable camera department comprised of a 2MP front-facer and a main 8MP shooter at its back panel which is also capable of 1080p recording.
