The handset contains 1.0 GB of RAM system memory and 16 GB of built-in, user accessible storage.

A 2.0 megapixel chat cam (front) joins an 8.0 megapixel camcorder (rear) in the camera combo, and that rear device offers 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (1,080p HD) video capture. Popular social media destinations Picasa, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook have been pre-installed, and the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket provides Near Field Communications (NFC) support out-of-the-box.
