That is nearly double the industry average of 8.0 hours, and standby battery power lasts approximately 8.3 days. The handset delivers NFC support out-of-the-box, has a built-in music player with both customizable and preset equalizers, and popular social networking applications Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Picasa have been pre-installed.
A dual core 1.5 GHz CPU powers the handset, and an Adreno 225 GPU focuses on graphics processing. 2.0 GB of RAM memory has been pre-installed into the Verizon Galaxy S III 4G, and the built-in microSD slot accepts additional memory cards up to 64 GB in size. Simultaneous HD video and image recording is capable via the rear facing 8.0 megapixel camcorder, and a front facing chat cam offers video call support. The Verizon Galaxy S III can also function as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot for multiple wireless devices.
