The Galaxy S4 so far has been a successful phone for Samsung, but there is at least one area where the Galaxy S III trumps the powerful smartphone. The Galaxy S III was eventually available in multiple colors like Amber Brown, Titanium gray, Garnet red, Pebble blue, Marble white and Sapphire black. Currently the Samsung Galaxy for is only available in black and white, but that may be about to change. Some NTT DoCoMo promotional materials were recently spotted that show an Arctic blue colored Galaxy S4, and also point towards a Japan release in the upcoming weeks.
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $149.99.
There is no guarantee that that cool Arctic blue color option will arrived in the United States or other markets, and Samsung will probably watch its reception in Japan to see if they will roll it out internationally. Globally the Galaxy S4 has been popular due to cutting-edge eyeball recognition technology, a super slim profile, powerful processor and large high-resolution display. Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and DLNA wireless connectivity options are built into the handset, with the Samsung Galaxy S4 delivering the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out-of-the-box.
And while the Samsung Galaxy S III does contain standard security features, the S4 is the first handset manufactured by Samsung that delivers their business-minded KNOX solution. At both the hardware level and software levels security has been upgraded substantially, and business IT managers can now access pass code protected work information on the handset without disturbing your personal information, like music files, social network data, e-mails and photos. The handset also receives the SAFE designation as Samsung Approved for Enterprise.
The first thing you notice about the Galaxy S4 is the large high-resolution display. At 441 pixels per inch, pixel density is matched by only a few handsets and exceeded by only a couple. The large 5.0 inch display is also one of the biggest in the mobile handset marketplace, and Samsung has included their S Translator application that allows you to successfully speak multiple languages. Simply choose the language you want to translate to, speak your desired statement into the handset, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 will verbally deliver the translated language through its speaker.
S Health is also onboard, providing wonderful fitness and health tracking options, and you can even control the handset without touching it thanks to special contextual awareness technology. The US version is powered by a quad core 1.9 GHz CPU, and the handset can deliver up to 17.0 hours of talk time from a full charge. A 16 GB version is available from most retailers, with a 32 GB version also rolling out. The handset offers 2.0 GB of RAM memory and a high-end feature package for its camera, which records video at 1,080P HD resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at $149.99.
