Samsung has recently released the Galaxy Note 3 to the world only a couple weeks ago and for the ones that are not going to be picking one up, they want to know more about the Samsung Galaxy S5 that is likely to arrive next year. Samsung has some of the most popular handsets on the market today and the Galaxy S4 turned plenty of heads when it arrived this year with bumped up specs and hardware that could blow the doors of many competitors already on the market.

Rumors about handset are nothing new and it has even become commonplace to hear about them shortly after the latest handsets have arrived for consumers. Now that those that wanted to pick up the Galaxy S4 have it, the fifth generation is already in the crosshairs of others that will be looking to get an upgraded smartphone next year. Some of the rumors are nothing surprising and include a bump in the camera on the back side moving to a 16MP sensor from the 13MP sensor that you can see on the Galaxy S4 today. Another rumor suggests that the phone will include a new, 64-bit processor which has made its debut in the latest iPhone 5S this year.
Samsung has confirmed 64-bit processor technology for other devices already so it would only make sense that it moves to the smartphones as the company looks to keep up with Apple. Even though Apple does not have the only popular smartphone on the market, the company is still considered one that comes with innovative products every year. The 16MP camera sensor is likely to come with auto-focus and the suggestion of Optical Image Stabilization has been tossed around more than once.
One rumor even went far into the future to suggest that the Galaxy Note 4 would arrive with the same camera, but it will be awhile before users see that device on the market since the Galaxy Note 3 just arrived last month. The Galaxy S5 could launch as early as January at the Consumer Electronics Show, but it is not likely that it will be released to the public before the spring season next year. Besides a new processor and camera, rumors suggest that the smartphone could arrive with 4GB of RAM, which would be tops for smartphones on the market today.
