If you picked up the Samsung Galaxy S3 last year and could not wait to upgrade it to the Galaxy S4 this year, but have not yet, you will have another color option to choose from soon enough. According to reports, Samsung is about to offer the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the Blue Arctic color at Best Buy stores starting last week. Samsung showed off a couple of new colors earlier this year and now the Blue Arctic will be added to that list giving consumers more options than the typical black or white.
The new device was to be available in Best Buy stores on the 14th of November and will be available on the AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless networks. The device will be featured in the Samsung Experience Shops that can be found in more than 1400 Best Buy stores, as well as through the Best Buy website. The Blue Arctic Samsung Galaxy S4 feature that same specs that you can find in all of the other colored models including the White Frost and Black Mist options that were released earlier this year.
Samsung has offered new colors of popular devices after the main release for a couple of years now and that includes the Galaxy Note and Galaxy smartphone models. There are also a number of color options when it comes to changing the color via a flip cover or case for your device, but if you are case free and would rather sport the new color in the flesh, Blue Arctic is another option for you. The Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED touch screen display featuring a 1080p HD resolution and Gorilla Glass for scratch proof protection as well.
Besides the larger display, the phone comes with a quad-core processor that is clocked at 1.9Ghz, a microSD card slot for memory expansion and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software pre-installed. The Galaxy S4 has been rumored to be on the update list for Android 4.4 KitKat, so that is nice to know as well. Pre-orders for the Blue Arctic option have already started via the Best Buy website. Samsung has also been the center of rumors surrounding the fifth generation Galaxy smartphone, but that device is not expected until the spring of next year so all specs and hardware are speculated at this point.
