The Droid Razr M 4G Android smartphone was developed to be smaller, lighter and more compact than the typical phone with a 4.3 inch screen. The same 4.3 inch high resolution display from the original Droid Razr 4G is present on the handset, even though that display needed a much longer and wider body. The handset delivers Near Field Communications (NFC) support, the brand-new Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and is offered in your choice of either black or white body color.

The Motorola Droid Razr M is available at a reduced price tag at select online retailers now starting at $0.01.

The new Google Maps with Navigation application is on board, with voice activation. Merely speak or type in your destination, and you get free turn by turn directions, as well as voice guidance. That application also allows you to save multiple starting and stopping points, and is just one of many Google apps on board. The Droid Razr M 4G also offers Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk and Picasa integration, and the Chrome for Android web browser has been pre-installed.

Measuring 4.82 x 2.40 x 0.33 inches (122.5 x 60.9 x 8.3 mm) and weighing 4.44 ounces (126 g), the handset is much more compact and lighter than other smartphones with a 4.3 inch display and 4G connectivity. The handset arrived on September 10 on the 4G LTE network of Verizon Wireless in the United States, and the 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED screen delivers 40% more display and less bezel and body than comparably sized smartphones.

Display resolution runs 540 x 960 pixels, and more than 16 million different colors are represented. Pixel density is also high, at 256 pixels per inch, and the handset is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass. DLNA wireless video out connectivity is offered, and a unique nanocoating protects both the interior and exterior of the handset for splash-proof protection.

Built into the rear of the Droid Razr M handset is an 8.0 megapixel camcorder, and that rear snapper contains a built-in LED flash, offering touch to focus, autofocus, face detection and image stabilization features. Video is recorded in 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (1,080p HD resolution), and a front facing VGA quality chat cam is also on board. 8.0 GB of data storage are built in to the Droid Razr M4 G, as is 1.0 GB of RAM system memory, with a dual core 1.5 GHz central processor powering the handset. A microSD slot is provided for storage expansion. The Motorola Droid Razr M can function as a mobile hotspot with Wi-Fi connectivity, supporting multiple wireless devices.

You can purchase the Droid Razr M for pennies at select online retailers now starting at $0.01.
