About one month after Samsung officially revealed the brand new Galaxy Note 3 to the public, customers on the Sprint network will be able to check it out by hand in stores across the country. Sprint announced this week that it would be shipping the new Note device on the 4th of October. Sprint users will be able to head into any Sprint retail store and feel the device in hand for the first time on that day and decide if the larger display, better processor and design is something that they want to purchase.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II White is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $99.
If the decision is yes, which is expected for millions of customers that weekend, you will be able to purchase the device for just $349. The new phablet will be ready to ship in Classic White and Jet Black and the pricing does include a new two year contract with the mobile carrier that is in the middle of expanding its 4G LTE network. The Galaxy Note devices have been available in other colors in the past, but most of the time the new colors come out after the initial release of the device. If you want a non-typical color, than you might have to wait a month or more to get that chance.
In the meantime, you will also be able to check out the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, which is also going to be ready to sell on the 4th of October, but for a price of just $299.99. The Galaxy Gear will be ready to ship in Jet Black, Oatmeal Beige and Wild Orange. There are plenty of reviews online for the device if you want to check out the colors for yourself. Up until this week, Sprint has not been saying much about either device, so it is nice that customers with an upgrade coming up can plan for the new device.
The Galaxy Note 3 is going to come with some very impressive features with one being the large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED touch screen display that comes with a 1080×1920 resolution and 386ppi. The phone is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm, 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 graphics processor. Internal memory starts at 32GB with a microSD card slot for expansion. The back side features the 13MP camera sensor that can record in 1080p HD at 60 frames per second.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II White can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at $99.
