Sprint confirms ICS update for the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G

Fast-forward to today, we know now that that rumor didn’t pan out because it was an AT&T handset that got first dibs on Ice Cream Sandwich in the form of the HTC Vivid 4G. in fact, it was heavily reported a couple of months back that users of the handset from the Taiwanese smartphone and tablet manufacturer were already able to download the ICS update for the device by utilizing a dialer trick even before AT&T officially rolled out the update.

We already knew that all along and it would have been a whole lot better if the carrier at least gave the users of the handset a specific time frame as to when they can expect the rollout to happen.
