At the moment, the Samsung Galaxy S IV is perhaps one of the most powerful handsets currently available in the market today. No surprise here given the fact that the smartphone is the current flagship device of the Korean smartphone and tablet manufacturer so it is only natural for the handset to come with more than enough firepower under the hood to blast through any task you throw at it with relative ease. Because of this attribute, the popularity of the Samsung Galaxy S IV has started shooting off the charts and recent reports show that sales of the Samsung flagship has already reached the 6 million mark and is expected to reach 10 million any day now.
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 Black Mist is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $129.99.
Of course, price point-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S IV also comes with a premium price tag attached to its retail package. This is also expected – after all, it is the flagship device of the Korean electronics giant and one can expect all sorts of features and functionalities, basically all the bells and whistles and much more, you can expect from a handset. However, the price point of the Samsung Galaxy S IV as time passes will also get lower and those gunning to make the handset their next mobile weapon of choice can now get their hands on the Samsung flagship at a relatively more affordable price point.
As it stands, Sprint, one of the major carriers that released the handset in US shores, has already drawn first blood in terms of giving its variant of the Samsung Galaxy S IV a price cut. At the moment, authorized resellers of the Now Network have been given the green light to sell the handset at a much cheaper price point so those interested in taking advantage of this offer can now get their hands on the Samsung flagship at a sub-$130 price point. Of course, this price point is bound to get lower some more in the future but if you can’t wait for that to happen, this is the absolute lowest the price of the Samsung Galaxy S IV can get at the moment. Of course, you will be required to sign a new two-year contract with the Now Network as part of this deal but I’m pretty sure you know that already.
For those not familiar with the resume of the Samsung Galaxy S IV, the handset runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for its operating system and its circuitry is built around a Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset in its internals. The handset on the other hand relies on its quad-core 1.9 GHz Krait 300 processor and 2GB of RAM to come up with the computing muscle to keep the operation of the handset relatively flawless. The handset comes with 16GB of onboard storage but this can easily be expanded using the device’s dedicated microSD card slot. As for its display, the Samsung Galaxy S IV comes with a 5.0-inch SuperAMOLED HD panel with a 1920 x 1280 resolution while its camera department is just as impressive with its rear 13MP shooter and front 2MP snapper.
