The Sprint Galaxy Note II 4G Android phablet delivers one of the largest displays ever created for a smartphone. That display offers a popular Multi-Window feature that splits into two equally sized screens, and the phone is run by a powerful quad core processor. The Galaxy Note II can be found on the new Sprint 4G LTE network, is perfect for business as a SAFE (Samsung Approved for Enterprise) mobile handset, and allows you to communicate with it by touching, hovering, drawing, writing and speaking.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $19.99.
Sprint recently slashed the retail price of the Galaxy Note II smartphone to under $70 on contract to kick off the Summer season, giving the powerful bestseller a price tag usually reserved for low-end handsets. The full-featured phone provides an excellent multimedia experience for personal use, and even the pickiest IT security professional will appreciate that the Galaxy Note II supports on-device encryption (ODE), Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
The smart stylus S Pen has been redesigned and is now thicker and longer, giving the Galaxy Note II user a more realistic pen-like experience. Sprint services like Sprint ID, TV, Radio, MusicPlus and others are on board, and the device offers NFC wireless support as well. The Sprint Galaxy Note II also comes with Google Play, giving you access to thousands of apps and the Samsung Media Hub. It is the first Samsung phone to launch with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out-of-the-box, and the Samsung-dedicated website SamMobile recently tweeted that the Galaxy Note II is on the list to receive both Android 4.2.2, and eventually Key Lime Pie 5.0.
Released on the Sprint 4G LTE network late last year, the Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone is wafer-thin at 0.37 inches (9.3 mm). The display runs a large 5.55 inches, with a protective Corning Gorilla Glass 2 layer. That huge high resolution screen is laid out in a 16 to 9 aspect ratio, and offers a resolution of 720 by 1,280 pixels. Pixel density runs 265 ppi, with more than 16 million individual colors used when rendering visuals.
Talk time on the Sprint network can reach as high as 15.0 hours from a full charge, and the handset is powered by a quad core 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex A9 central processor. A quad core graphics processor is also on board, as is 2.0 GB of RAM, 16 GB of built-in data storage and a microSD slot. Video is recorded in 1,080P HD resolution on the rear facing camcorder, which has an 8.0 megapixel sensor, multishot burst mode, extra-wide panorama mode and digital image stabilization. A front facing chat cam is also on board, the Note II delivers a Stereo FM radio with RDS, and Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Picasa applications have been pre-installed.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II can be purchased at a discounted price tag now starting at $19.99.
