At the moment, one of the most talked-about handset in the smartphone market is the HTC One. The handset is the current flagship device of the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer and as such, it boasts of a cleverly-designed chassis made from premium quality materials that give it a classy and elegant look and feel, not to mention a solid build quality at the same time. In addition to that, the HTC One also boasts of an impressive resume made up of fire-breathing components under the hood that enable it to bring an even more impressive set of capabilities to the table.
The handset has already made its way to shelves in US shores and one of the major carriers that released its variant of the HTC One in US shores is Sprint. For a couple of days now, the handset is already available both online and in brick and mortar retail locations of the Now Network but those interested in getting their hands on the HTC flagship are only able to get the Glacial Silver edition of the handset. The wireless provider in the past however confirmed that it will also release the Stealth Black variant of the HTC One for those who want their smartphones coated with a black paint job.
Finally, those who want to make the Stealth Black variant of the HTC One their next mobile weapon of choice now have the option of picking up the handset from the Now Network. As it stands, Sprint has confirmed that it is now offering the HTC One in the said variant and those interested in getting one of these babies in its black colorway will be expected to shell out $199.99 – same as the price point of the handset’s Glacial Silver edition – and sign a new two-year service agreement with the Now Network to take advantage of the handset at its carrier-subsidized price point.
For those wanting to know more about the stealth Black HTC One, it is just basically the handset splashed in a black colorway with the same internals as that of the Glacial Silver edition. And by that we mean that the operation of the handset is powered by a Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset which essentially brings into play a quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 processor and a staggering 2GB of RAM. These two major components under the hood of the handset work together in generating the computing muscle needed by the HTC One to ensure that its performance is always snappy and buttery-smooth.
Though the HTC One does not support memory expansion, the handset has a very generous 32GB of onboard storage available to take care of a user’s storage needs. In terms of its display, the handset comes with a 4.7-inch Super LCD3 panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which some claim as the best display in the market today. As for its camera department, the HTC One boasts of a main 4MP UltraPixel camera at its rear panel while a secondary 2.1MP snapper can be found in its front bezel.
