Today, I got in to the office this morning, charged my phone up to about 92% using my laptop’s USB plug, disconnected and put it in my pocket–only to notice about 3 hours later (after no use whatsoever) the battery was down to 55%. The battery usage for “Phone Idle” seems to be running much higher than usual, and I also noticed that my GPS/Location settings had changed to “all on” which is a setting I never use. Don’t want to blatantly blame the latest update for this, but I’m the only one who ever touches my phone and I certainly didn’t change this setting. Hopefully this was the cause behind this rapid battery drain – fingers crossed.
