Verizon may be the league leader in US shores in terms of LTE coverage but that doesn’t stop the wireless provider from taking an expansionist policy and widening the gap between itself and its competitors. In fact, the carrier has just announced that it is lighting up its LTE network on a buch of markets today while several expansions are planned to take place tomorrow. This simply means that Verizon subscribers who rock an HTC Rezound 4G handset now have more and more areas to user their handsets in in taking advantage of all the benefits that the carrier’s LTE network brings to the table.

At the rate it is going right now, it looks like Verizon already has 75% of the US population covered with its LTE network. On a side note though, this recent expansion has been triggered by the expected launch of the new generation Apple iPhone which already packs support for LTE connectivity. Be that as it may, other LTE-capable devices in the stable of the wireless provider such as the HTC Rezound 4G are also bound to reap the benefits of this massive expansion.
As for the HTC Rezound 4G LTE, this handset still remains as one of the more capable devices in the lineup of Big Red despite its aging status. After all, the handset has been around since November of last year but it still is very much capable of playing with the bad boys of the smartphone competition.
Under the hood, the HTC Rezound 4G relies on its QualComm MSM8660 SnapDragon chipset to power its operations and this SOC brings to the handset a dual-core 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor and a full gigabyte of RAM to the fold. Its storage space comes up to 16GB but the handset’s retail package includes a 16GB microSD card for memory expansion purposes. In terms of its display, the HTC Rezound 4G packs a 4.3-inch SuperLCD panel with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels while its camera department includes a main 8MP shooter at its back panel while its front bezel is home to its 2MP video call camera.
