droidrazrmWhile there were several large screen high resolution smartphones in 2011, 2012 was where the big display really took off. Mobile handsets now routinely deliver screens of more than 4.0 inches in size, but there is a problem that is inherent to a bigger display. Obviously, the handset itself has become larger and heavier, and in some cases even thicker to support the hardware and software which are needed for a large high-resolution screen. Motorola Mobility understands that customers demand large screens and high resolution, but they wanted to buck the trend and make a compact, slim and light 4G handset to take the load off of your pocket or purse.

The Droid Razr M is available for a reduced sale price now starting at $0.01.

The successful accomplishment of that goal resulted in the Motorola Droid Razr M 4G Android smartphone. The handset runs on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system in the United States, and can also work globally on GSM and 3G networks. The Chrome for Android mobile web browser has been pre-installed, and allows you to sync your handset with your laptop or desktop PC. The Motorola SmartActions application has been included, and this allows you to set battery power saving rules for your Droid Razr M 4G.

The handset is built to be durable, with Droid Razr features that debuted on previous devices. A layer of Gorilla Glass offers scratch resistance, a water repellent nanocoating protects your sensitive electrical boards, and the DuPont Kevlar back plate and aircraft grade aluminum frame make for a very tough smartphone. Available in either black or white and delivering the Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system, the handset measures 4.82 x 2.40 x 0.33 inches (122.5 x 60.9 x 8.3 mm) in size, weighing 4.44 ounces (126 g).

That makes the Droid Razr M 4G smaller, slimmer and lighter than most 4G smartphones, and the 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED screen delivers a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Pixel density runs high at 256 pixels per inch, and that display presents itself in more than 16 million colors. Light and proximity sensors help battery performance, and DLNA connectivity provides video out options.

With a battery that is approximately 40% more powerful than the one found on the iPhone 5, the Droid Razr M provides a generous 20.0 hours of talk time from a single charge. A dual core 1.5 GHz central processor powers the handset, 1.0 GB of RAM memory has been pre-installed, as has 8.0 GB of built-in data storage. A microSD slot has been added to give you storage expansion opportunities, and the 8.0 megapixel camcorder built into the back of the Droid Razr M 4G provides video capture at 1,080P HD resolution.

You can purchase the Droid Razr M at a discounted price tag now starting at $0.01.
